Z-axis motors question...
Hello -
My MK4S -> CoreOne kit came in, finally after a very long wait. I've taken the MK4S apart, lots of parts in ziplock bags and labeled. Starting the process of building the CoreOne.
I took the new Z-axis motor that came in the kit and compared it to the two I have already. This is what the motor labels look like:
The NEW motor that came in the kit is on the left. It reads: "ORIGINAL PRUSA".
The motors that were on my MK4S are in the middle and the right. The label reads "ORIGINAL PRUSA I3".
Question: is this going to be a problem? Are the motors mis-matched?
I also see the face of the motor mount is different. New motor on the left, the other motors on the right?
Thoughts? Is this a concern or no worries?
Thanks!
RE: Z-axis motors question...
Not a problem. Your MK4S is actually an "i3 Mark 4 S". The Mark 4/MK4 has the same specification motor as the CoreONE.

Thanks!
RE: Z-axis motors question...
Mine are the same way, so far so good, no issues on the z-axis to speak of.
