Z-axis fails due to loadcell
I just finished assembling the Core One Kit.
I am having challenges with the load cell. The load cell test CAN pass if i apply enough upward pressure. The z-axis test always fails at the initial tapping of the nozzle to the bed.
1. Prior to running a test, the sensor info for load cell has a value of ~7984.
2. Run load cell test. It passes when I tap "VERY" hard (using what i consider an aggressive push up on the nozzle). Looking at sensor info, loadcell values are 1.6, -2.4...2.5 (moves around a bit)
3. Run Z-axis test, will always fail. After running, load cell info reads -10.6...(numbers around this).
I thought if I raised the bed a bit and/or lowered the nozzle (by loosening it), this could help. It did not.
Does this indicate a faulty loadcell? I am looking for debugging advice.

Sometimes it's because you have screws too tight or some parts in the Nextruder putting unnecessary stress on the load cell.
Try to slightly unscrew and screw back again some parts.

Also check that you insert the Nextruder nozzle with very light upward pressure. It shouldn't really be forced up against the seat before tightening as this might cause a continuous force applied to the load cell sensor.
You can actually check the live load cell measurements in the menu for debugging.

Thanks! After checking and debugging with support, turns out the load cell is bad. Brings up a challenge i have with the Kit. There are no checkpoint tests along the way... I appreciate your reply.

Thank you very much for the reply. After checking values, etc. with support, the load cell is bad. Oh well. Now I wait for the replacement. The good news is I guess I have a much better feel for that part of the system. I wish another technique than a loadcell was used, but what do i know.
