Print Anomaly
I have been super happy with the Core One kit I have, minor issues to make the belt right and such, but mostly it is great.
I have a repeatable issue with a print for the lithograph planet stand on printables. On one leg, it is terrible, but the other two (which are printing at the same time), it is ok. Is this an angle thing? At first I thought filament, but my filament tower (gcode) is pretty good top to bottom, so I think the filament is pretty tolerant.
RE: Print Anomaly
The cooling of freshly deposited filament is not quite 360° on the Nextruder : The fan shroud tries to distribute the airflow evenly, but is seems to be weaker at the (open) front side. Hence overhangs oriented towards the front are not printed as robustly as in the back.
Assuming that the bad leg was oriented straight towards the front, you could experiment with the part orientation during printing. One leg straight to the back, the other two sideways in the front may work better? But in general the overhang angle does not look that demanding. So I am wondering whether the print parameters were less than ideal? Maybe reduce the print speed for overhangs further, or increase the cooling fan speed if it is not maxed out yet.
