Nozzle temperature not correct

Hello everyone,

I more or less successfully converted my MK4 to a Core One today. However, I'm now having the problem that the nozzle temperature is no longer being detected. The sensor always shows 25°C. Even when I heat it up, it stays that way.I've already replaced the sensor and installed the old "main cable" for testing, but the result is always the same.
What's really strange is that the electronics detects when I unplug the sensor.
This means: The display is 25°C, no matter how I heat the sensor. If I unplug the sensor, I get a message saying it needs to be checked. But the display remains at 25°C.
Maybe someone has already encountered this problem, or at least an idea.

Thanks, Dieter

No firsthand knowledge but the very first (maybe so obvious you already did it and just didn't write about it) is to check all of the connections to ensure that you have all of the various temperature sensors a) connected to the correct locations and b) the connectors are firmly seated.

Regards,

Steve

It's possible the thermistor in the heat block is bad. Over tightening the grub screw can crush damage it. Try swapping it out for a different one.

Did you run a heater calibration test recently?
