Nextruder Assembly - Spacer too small
Hello
The spacer provided in the assembly kit, to fit over the shaft of the extruder is too small.
Did anyone have the same issue and what can I do to make it work other than requesting another spacer?

Hm, that looks too thick to be the spacer. Are you sure that's the correct part?
Either way, I think there's a spare spacer in the "spart parts" bag. Check in there for an extra one.

It’s the spacer from the Nextruder bag, so it should be the right one as there is only one spacer with those dimensions in that bag.
I’ll check the spare parts bag.

Update: No spare parts bag, and there is no spare spacer in the Nextruder bag.
For spare fasteners, they’re already included in the small bags for every type of fastener.

Bummer. I guess your only option at this point is reaching out to Prusa support.

I had to rebuild my Nextruder and hotend last weekend after a blob of death incident and that's definitely not the spacer. The spacer is thinner than a washer, its almost flexible.
I've read comments saying they've found missing parts deep in the packaging so it might be worth stripping the packing right down. Just a thought

When reading your post I thought I forgot the spacer when converting from Mk4 to core. So I opened the gear this morning and found no spacer. But just before reassembly I discovered the spacer sticking to the gear. It’s barely to be seen with the eye. So maybe it is already in place, sticking with lube.?

All is resolved now! Contacted support and they confirmed that it was the right piece. They advised to drill out the whole to fit over the motor shaft.

The spacer is definitely not the correct one. It is thicker than 0.1mm. Mine was quite soft, so thin is the material.

This is my spare spacer, as you can see it's only 0.13mm thick.
