Gantry Rail binding on Y axis
My Core Ones Y axis is binding about 2/3 of the way on rearward travel. When building the Core XY system the movement was smooth and was not binding. My printer failed its initial Y axis self test, at this point I am unsure if the root is the issue is the rails themselves, the gantry being misaligned or the core XY plate being misaligned from part 8 final assembly. Any ideas?

After dissasembly, I discovered the filament sensor cable despite bing securely tied down was grabed by the right side gantry carrier. Also fixed the y axis calibration failure by adding a single M3 washer (0.5mm thick) behind each of the three screws holding the gantry to the right side and adjusting the belt tension in unison.
RE: Gantry Rail binding on Y axis
Please check the cable to the filament sensor (right side panel). On my build, it got stuck in its cable tie when I installed the right side panel. So the cable was bulging inward, and got in the way of the linear bearing which rides on the right Y rod. Simple fix, just push the cable back through the cable tie to straighten it.

It's for sure not the cable, I ended up rewiring the love board main cable from the buddy board forward to correct the cable strain on the board side. It's for sure a mechanical bind as the axis X and Y axis moved freely during my original main cable installation. Something went wrong between part 6 and 8

I don't quite get what you are saying -- first you write that "it's for sure not" what I suggested, then you describe the very same thing as your own solution, and mark your own post as the "best answer"? Anyway, glad that your Core One works now.
