Filament too cold outside Printer

Can Prusa or someone help me. My prints appear to be underextruded. there is always separation on my prints. I have tried, slowing it down, checking my belts. Different filaments. Drying Filaments, different size rolls. Rolls that are half full. Different prints. but no matter what I print as it goes up the layers there are parts that are just not filled in. I am wondering being in Alaska and it having been cold lately if that is an issue with the filament hanging outside the box. I have a MK4s and it has always been in the enclosure, although with PLA I have always left the box open. I am getting pretty frustrated. Nothing I have printed so far does not have those separation lines. I also cleaned my nozzle, but this has printed this way right out of the box. I am getting pretty frustrated because I paid so much money, and yes, this was a pre built, so it shipped all the way to Alaska.. Any help or suggestions, or if you need further information, please help me make me happy with my Core One Purchase.

High humidity will cause this - try and lower the humidity and make sure filaments are 'dry'

Also I've had success with raising the printing temperature of filaments (PLA)  that just refused to print well - raising the temperature up to 240 - when 215 would work with others - this has helped me use 'unusable' filaments in the past.

All good things and all things I have tried. Just keeping in mind my filaments print beautiful on my MK4s, and it is just straight out of the box this one will not give me good layers.. I want to print stuff for Easter on it, but I will probably go back to the mk4s to do it.. I am printing parts for my husbands display model airplane, and I am very disappointed in the prints. Also we are very low humidity right now with the cold temps. I raised the temp of the layers to 235 and got stringing, so that told me that it was too high, and because I did that I had to actually leave the door open as the chamber just got too hot.

There is a mod for filament placed inside the heated chamber. Maybe it will solve your issue. https://www.printables.com/model/1216115-prusa-core-one-internal-spool-holder

Thank you I will check into this. Still curious if anyone else in colder climates is having this issue. I really expected my printer to work straight out of the box.

Finally got my printer to print 3 nice benchies.. turned nozzle up to 235 bed 55. But the catch is, it was with the prusament galaxy pla... then it worked ok with the flashforge HS and regular pla.. well their shiny stuff. Here is the catch. It still will not work with my Elegoo Matte PLA and the cardboard spool does not seem to turn and even fell of the holder. The other filaments had plastic spools? Is that a thing on these printers? I have dried my Matte PLA tried multiple settings, but it always fails at the top, and does not build the whole cabin or makes a mess when it does. PLA is not the only filament I am having probs with I have tried so many settings for my PETG I am getting so tired of it.. then I will send same exact file over to the MK4S and it prints so beautifully. I am so so tired of all of this, I would of waited for the kit, but I wanted a prebuilt at my age so I could just relax and print, but this printer has been anything but relaxing for me.

I am confused now. What is the failure mode with the Elegoo Matte PLA? Does the spool get stuck (right away?) or fall off, or is there some problem with the print quality?

Hang on... you mean you send the same Gcode file to the MK4S and to the Core One? But you did slice the prints specifically for the Core One, did you? (You need to use PrusaSlicer 2.9.x, which supports Core One as the printer model.)

The failure with the elegoo pla is low adhesion... and during the cycle of printing the cardboard spool hangs up or falls off the spool holder. Yes the print quality is terrible, their are low adhesion/extrusion lines in the print and the top usually won't print at all on the benchy. But not just Benchies, I made a bowl and all through it was the low adhesion/extrusion lines.

No not same gcode.. same file but sliced for the mk4s.. and yes I know I have to use each printer profile to slice for each printer. thank you though for responding.

I am trying this now thank you. And even though the filament works in my mk4s I am drying it to see what I can do.. I gave up on the PETG I just cannot find a way to get it to print

I had success with prusa galaxy pla and also flashforge sparkly pla.. I am drying all my filament now even though they work on the mk4s. But I have totally given up on the PETG. I get a great first layer then it fails, but like I said if I use same print, but profile for mk4s in slicer it works on my mk4s. I have tried the prusament pla setting and just the prusa pla setting when using pla and the same on the petg, I have tried both the prusa settings for those. I am just so tired of trying to make it print... my mk4s after I upgraded it form the mk3s+ is a dream as was the mk3s+. I was so happy to get rid of my ender when I got the mk3s+ because I was so so tired of having to fix it all the time. But so far, I am right back where I really don't wanna be with my Core One.

Printing PETG isn't the best experience with the Core One. What helps is setting the fan speed to 35%. I'm sure it can be more tuned and will be in future.
