                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You have a small blob of doom; search here under that name to find how others have dealt with them.</p><p>They are less frequent nowadays as recent printers take care of first layer settings so the commonest cause is now poor adhesion due to dirty print-sheets, very often fingerprints.</p><p>Search here for threads about bed cleaning - I would use dishwashing detergent (Dawn/Fairy) and very HOT water.</p><p>Yes, there are a few signs that humidity might be having a detrimental effect but this is not the cause of your current problem.</p><p>Cheerio,</p>]]></content:encoded>

After a couple of minutes that blob will be easier to remove from the assembly with a pair of pliers or something. Then purge some filament a few times, just to make sure that there is no filament stuck.</p><p> </p><p>I would assume that your problem is that the first couple of layers don't stick to the sheet. Try cleaning carefully with IPA before each print.                         <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey everyone, I’m new to 3D printing and could use some help.</p><p> </p><p>I’m running into a strange issue where filament builds up around the nozzle and eventually forms a big blob of material. This has now happened twice, even though the print before worked perfectly.</p><p> </p><p>I’m using PLA that was dried and stored properly in my Polymaker container.
