Core One+ Bed Adhesion Issues
At my work we received a factory assembled Core One+ and have been running into bed adhesion issues since the first keychain print.
I believe I properly set it up, and did clean the textured sheet with IPA but the first print came off the bed. Since then I tried to clean and print it again and had some success, and another PLA keychain peel off. I just tried to print a part in generic PETG but it failed as it came loose during the printing like the other prints.
I'd hate to do brims on everything, is there any steps that should be taken to improve the bed adhesion?
Thanks.
RE: Core One+ Bed Adhesion Issues
IPA doesn't really clean the sheet, it just spreads oils around. Try cleaning with dish soap and warm water. You can also raise the bed temperature. Or you can buy a BIQU CryoGrip Glacier, never really need to clean it and can thank me later.
There are lots of threads here about bed cleaning which is by far the commonest cause of these problems.
As a rough guide: 90%+ IPA between prints - not essential but it roughly doubles the time before ...
As soon as the first adhesion problems are noticed: Dish-washing detergent (Dawn/Fairy) and very HOT water (check posts here) make sure to dry the sheet before storage or it will rust.
And SMOOTH SHEETS ONLY - if the above doesn't work use acetone to refresh the surface - no more than once or twice a year.
Cheerio,
