Core one and mmu3
Hi everyone Im was wondering if there is any information on the compatibility of the core one using the MMU3 setup? Thanks Paul
RE: Core one and mmu3
As Prusa noted, the MMU3 is compatible to Core One, but yet there are no printable extruder parts for the core one available as well as no assembly manual and slicer profiles yet.
But theoretical the extruder printable parts for MK4 should fit also for Core-one and based on mk4 manual a installation could be done.
RE: Core one and mmu3
Hi,
yes, it is compatible and some (including myself) are already using it.But it's not officially released yet and there are currently no official profiles in Prusa Slicer. It's not much effort to make it work, but there are still some flaws, e.g. I use the stock assembled mmu, but the buffer is too small for the longer ptfe tube needed on the core on.

RE:
Hi Rolf,
how long is the PTFE tube for core one with MMU3? I have a 810mm long PTFE tube between nextruder and mmu3 and using auto-rewinder-spools. In the meantime with a lot of modifications inlcuding the Nextruder idler, it is running perfectly and I´m using 180mm/s instead of 140mm/s feedrate (where filamentchange makes a lot more fun).
the idler which enables this can be found here, the other modifications like rewinder spring will be released in the next days...
Here you can see how loading and unloading of PA filament with 810mm PTFE on my printer works the complete length of PTFE tube is approx. 1900mm till spool:

Sorry, here is the clip of the 810mm load unload from mmu to Nextruder using rewindeer spools:
RE: Core one and mmu3
Currently mine is about 480mm but i removed the top Cover and bolted the mmu3 to the upper rear case mount as shown here https://www.printables.com/model/1281631-prusa-mmu3-core-one-frame-holder
If i want to keep the mounting Position an make a hole in the lid i might need additional 200mm to get it properly routed along the curren tube
