Combined instructions: MK4 -> CORE One
Can we get instructions for going straight from MK4 to CORE 1 using both MK4s and CORE One upgrade kits?
Upgrading to MK4s only to take it apart again for CORE upgrade is a pain. Would be customer friendly to help us know the MK4s reassembly steps we can skip when going directly to CORE One upgrade.
RE: Combined instructions: MK4 -> CORE One
I'd say that you can just follow the MK4S upgrade instructions for the Nextruder then ignore the rest.
For the Nextruder, upgrade the idler parts but don't bother with the fan holder, etc. That's it - everything else is stuff you're just going to take apart.
RE: Combined instructions: MK4 -> CORE One
I did all of the preparations including MK4S changes yesterday. Post above is correct. Just perform the Nextruder changes and then simply continue the Prusa guide.
RE: Combined instructions: MK4 -> CORE One
Thanks for this response. Looking at the instructions for CORE One assembly, aside from the Nextruder, there are many parts reused from the MK4S and others that are reused from the MK4. Is there an easy way to tell which version of parts I need from which machine for the CORE One upgrade?
RE: Combined instructions: MK4 -> CORE One
(one small but obvious example I noticed: The WiFi Module gets upgraded in the MK4 to MK4S upgrade, and the upgraded WiFi module is reused in the CORE one upgrade... I'm sure there are other items that are less obvious to pull from the MK4S kit when upgrading directly to the CORE One from MK4)
