New features, that should be added form my point of view
Dear all, my printer is an i3 Mk3s+, with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, the camera I'm using is a common cheap Raspberry cam, with a 30 cm. long cable, all the firmware and software are the official ones and everything works fine now.
Actually, I'm implementing some extra features, the program is working now, but I'm still preparing the hardware, the new features are intelligent lights based on Prusa Connect API, this light, currently working but not yet mounted, alights everytime the machine is working, giving a predefined level of light from 0 to 100%, and disconnects, when the machine finishes print, really good to check the machine remotely at night, at same time I added a fan for Raspberry Pi Zero, and Einsy Rambo, working from 10 to 100%, when the Raspberry temperature goes over 35 ºC, and increasing speed as long the temperature increases, also is writing a log in a server with all of those movements, the system have been written in Python, and nowadays I'm working to mount everything on the machine, now starts as a service and is working fine.
Referring new features, as written before in some Prusa related forums, Github and so, ( https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/4877#issuecomment-3200142594).
- First should be to decrease the time between pictures, as soon as Prusa link is not able to deliver video, will be great to have at least a picture per second, not one every ten seconds.
- Second feature, should be a small terminal window in order to send and read gcodes to/from the printer, as it exists in Pronterface.
- Third feature, is to be able to click on the screen, instead to need to go to the machine to use repeatedly the pushbutton, some times up to 9 times for s single filament change.
- Fourth feature, will be great to have control over the extruder motor speed and filament purge length, not while printing, but at purge state, this will avoid the current extra slow, and insufficient filament purge quantity, at super low speed, this is necessary not only on Prusa Link / Prusa Connect, but in Prusa Mk3s firmware.
