Missing or late notifications
It happens to me regularly that I receive notifications for items that are already fixed.
For example: starting a PLA print shows an on screen message to open the top ventilation. After acknowledging this, I still get a notification on my phone a few minutes later.
Another example: changing the filament requires user intervention through the display. After doing so I still get messages on my phone that "the printer needs attention". This often takes 5-30 minutes before I get the message.
Printer is a Prusa Core One, firmware 6.3.3, Phone is a Motorola Edge 60 running Android 15
RE: Missing or late notifications
Those notifications are coming from Prusa to your phone/device…at least thats how they work on iOS, I’ve noticed they can be hit and miss at the best of times.
RE: Missing or late notifications
Just confirming that this is a problem for me too. Just had a notification to open the ventilation 40 minutes after i started the print..
Printer is a Prusa Core One, firmware 6.3.4, Phone is a Google Pixel 8 running Android 16
RE: Missing or late notifications
I have the same problem.
It is not really usefull as is.
I disabled battery saving on the app but i dont think it will help
One thing i do notice is the notifications seem to come through when i wake up the phone / unlock it
Wired utp Core one.

Edit. I think the problem is in "doze mode" it restricts network acces for apps while in sleep state. Unlocking screen turns it off and then the notificastions come through.
I have checked with the app "dontkillmyapp" and the score is 53% when an prusa notification should come through (test of 5 minutes) which is bad and it is 100% when no notification comes through (test with 30+ minutes).
Whatsapp is standard excluded from this and prusa should be too.
Prusa needs to develop the app for android's new foreground serrvice api policy. Since 07-2024 it is possible.
How do i contact prusa to let them know?
