Support testing

Hm hoping one of you guys know how to go about this .Trying to test different top contact Z distances with my support ranging from organic to grid. This process in simplify3D is simple, since several processes can me designed for each part I’m testing on then print all test parts at the same time ( z distance .4mm distance .3mm and so on). Since simplify3D isn’t supported for IDEX and only prusaslicer is. Does anyone know how to do this ? I tried prusa’s recomendation on selecting an individual part and then giving it its own support BUT the option to change contact z distance isn’t available for each part.

RE: Support testing

It's possible in Prusaslicer:

Right-click on your object, select Add Settings>Support material

Pick from the list options, e.g., Top Z Distance and click the checkbox next to it to select it.

Selected options will now show up in the parts browser where they can be edited.

Rinse and repeat for other objects

RE: Support testing

Ah thank you. Instructions were to add support. Didn’t mention that I can add other settings.
Hopefully this works out with organic. Once again thank you. This is a massive help.
