RE: Wishlist for future enclosure features/add-ons
The only reason mine has a humidity sensor/display is that I wanted a temperature sensor, but in my goodie box I only had a combined temp/humid sensor, so I used that.
RE: Wishlist for future enclosure features/add-ons
I ended up losing the rmu, and setting up the Repbox rewinder instead to get rid of buffer altogether. Made some brackets to hold Repbox above

@Kyle that looks great. Do you have a link to the parts?
on another noted, for your repwinder which spool mount did you use? I have printed the swing version and I struggle to get 5 spools in the box.
RE: Wishlist for future enclosure features/add-ons

RE: Wishlist for future enclosure features/add-ons
Well, it would be too late for me to profit from it, but when I bought my Mk4, I would have loved to get a fully assembled printer in a fully assembled enclosure instead of an assembled printer that I will have to partially dismantle in order to mount it in an enclosure I have to assemble myself. So the feature request would be "offer assembled printers with enclosure instead of half-assing a bundle with the enclosure kit".
I know, I know - many people here just love building those kits. I honestly don't because my ADHD makes it really, really hard to start a task like that. Because of that, my enclosure kit is still in its original packing, awaiting a day on which I can muster the motivation to build it and install the printer.
By the way... Does anybody have an idea how long it will take a reasonably skilled person to go from having an assembled Mk4 and a packaged enclosure kit to having an Mk4 in an enclosure sitting on the desk? Knowing how much time to set aside might help me conquer my stupid brain and finally do it.
RE: Wishlist for future enclosure features/add-ons
I bought my mk4 kit and later the enclosure, so I guess this is the same starting point as you have now. I mounted the enclosure in 3 days when I had some time, I'd say 4 hours in total. I didn't move the display outside so the mk4 "disassembly" was only related to cutting the zip tie holding the power cables one at the time, separate the cable, and mounting immediately a new one. The work on the mk4 is 30min top.
If you want to do some customization (e.g., handles, top cover that can be opened, led stripe and ventilation) I recommend to use the optimized assembly instruction available on the enclosure forum.
RE: Wishlist for future enclosure features/add-ons
After successfully assembling the enclosure, I have a new wish… Provide a clean way to connect a LAN cable to a printer in the enclosure!
