About Me
I was an aircraft mechanic in the US Air Force for ten years and then an equipment maintenance tech in semiconductor manufacturing for almost 1 year. I had a significant life changing event that led to me going to school full time to be an aerospace engineer. In my second semester of college, I got my first 3D printer. It was a 5th generation Makerbot Replicator. That machine forced me to learn a lot about 3D printing. It also forced me to learn how to troubleshoot and repair my printer because Makerbot does not offer much technical advice or help for free. I got the Mk3 (since upgraded to the Mk3S) in 2018 and I almost never use my Makerbot anymore.
I have since graduated from college and am still looking for work as an engineer. The global COVID-19 pandemic has definitely stunted my success in that arena.
