Extruder Clicking, Filiment not flowing properly

Just received my Core One L, been printing mostly PETG for several days with no issues.   About 13 hours into a 16 hour print the filament stopped moving thru the extruder cleanly.   Came downstairs to find the hotend about an inch above the print and a tangle of filament below.   Tried unloading the filament and reloading but I heard a clicking sound.  Ran the temp up to 230 and left it there for a bit.  Then pushed a cleaning pin in fully.   Tried this for about 5 minutes, then tried to reload the filament, same problem.   Any suggestions.

Just spent some additional time with the hotend at 260 and a nozzle cleaning pin.    No joy,   just tried to print PETG at 250 and had the same issue.

Hi @john-pomeroy,

I suppose you checked that the filament was not tangled up on the spool? Happened to me once, e.g. if you don’t fixate the loose end properly it may get a little tangled up without being obvious. It still prints properly until the tangle suddenly tightens up and prevents the motor to pull more filament.

melt.
