Converting temperature LCD module from C to fahrenheit

Hello All,

Has anyone converted the temperature module from C to fahrenheit.   I read a solder connection must be made on the circuit board from the C to F pad. But when looking at the board I don"t see the associated labels?  Was hoping I could get some assistance.

Thanks

Roger

Hi Joan,

I went to the site but there are no instructions?  Maybe I'm missing something?

Hi Roger,

there appear to be three optional variables for the command

M149 [C] [F] [K]

[C]   Report in Degrees Centigrade

[F]    Report in Degrees Farenheight and

[K]   Report in degrees Kelvin

in your case try putting

M149 [F]

into the start Gcode

Thanks Joan but I may have been confusing in my original message.  My issue is the temperature and humidity module that’s bolted to the top left of the MK3S enclosure.  It’s not part of the printing system it simply gives the temperature and humidity reading of inside the enclosure.  Unfortunately it only displays celsius not fahrenheit.  That said, I read that it can be made to read Fahrenheit by bridging two solder points of the small circuit board inside.  My question to the group is how are these two points labeled so I can modify the board?

Thanks

Roger

Ok I’m going to answer my own question.  Attached is a picture showing how to put a solder bridge between two pads to convert from celsius to fahrenheit on the LCD module included with the Prusa MK3S enclosure.  See the circle showing the location.  Pay attention to how you disassemble.  Easy conversion.

This is another issued model (KD-15-Y2)

Press IN on the 4 tabs . Note the solder pads near black dot. C/F. Bridge them for F.
