XL Build Plates
AliExpress now has a few XL build plates with patterns on them at a very reasonable price. I have one on the way. Will report on it.

I got the FYSETC one with gold textured PEI on one side and diamond-pattern hologram on the other. It's well worth its money.
So far only tested with PLA and PETG, where adhesion is very good. I would say on par with the original plates. I like the textured pattern a bit better than the original. There is slightly more pronounced texture on it, with bigger grain. It's not much but it does hide the lines completely, where on the PR plate I see them sometimes. Weirdly enough, it feels smoother somehow. I paid 23 USD for it including shipping. It will become my default consumable for now, except for temps > 85°C. I don't trust the holo sticker to not come off. I'll probably get another one with 2x PEI or replace the sticker with some other surface. The holo diamond pattern is nice to have, but also a bit tacky and I'll not use it much.

I ordered the same plate. Mine got lost in customs for 9 days. I haven’t got it yet. Glad to hear it’s working for you. I expect to use it similarly. Hopefully some more patterns come out.

The PEI coating is very robust, I've used them for years on my Mk2.5.
There's a protective sticker over the holo, I was stupid and didn't see it. Turns out it has good adhesion as well, but breaks after one print 😆

I too have used these plates on my X1C. Better than Bambi’s plates. Can’t beat the price either.

Bambu has quietly upgraded their plates. Their current one is a good thickness. Sadly I printed petg a bit too close so I lost one side of it.
It happens, that’s why I like the cheap stuff.
