Octoprint Macro Question
Hello all, I was wondering if someone could help me please.
Summary: I want to use Octoprint with my Multi Tool Prusa XL. USB is a little slow when transferring files, and need use Octoprint instead of the touchscreen and knob.
Example, on Tool 1, I have white filament, on Tool 2 I have black filament, on Tool 3 I have red filament, Tool 4 blue filament, Tool 5 silver filament.
I have a I file i want to print, I have octoprint macro enable for gcode "T0", "T1", "T2", etc... If I click the these macro, the printer will do it's thing and pick up the right tool. Let's say the printer will pick up Tool 3 with red filament, when I choose to print, the printer will always switch to Tool 1 with the white filament and starts printing the file. Is there a way to just tell the printer to print with the Tool 3 instead of switching.
When testing this with the test benchy file that came in on the Prusa XL USB stick, this will function flawlessly and with no issue, it will print whatever Tool you tell the printer to pick up. So my guess is, there is something missing with my sliced file that I need to do for the printer to function correctly.
Any help or guidance is much appreciated.

Bump 🙂
You can set which tool to use in the slicer.

RE: Octoprint Macro Question
Is there a way to make the file generic and pick up a tool whenever you assign it? The files included on the USB does this flawlessly, I wonder if I can get the slicer file and not the gcode for these included sample files.
I am not up to date with Octoprint - I pick which toolhead(s) to use from the LCD.
