XL printing with E1 instead of E2
What am I doing wrong so the XL is printing this model with extruder 1 instead of extruder 2?!?!
Thank you for any suggestion
edit: I have no idea why 3mf file is not uploaded.
RE: XL printing with E1 instead of E2
But I didn't. I specifically selected second extruder.
Now, I have downloaded this file that I have sent and I see it is returned to default. Possibly a bug in 2.7.0._beta1?
Because you set it "Default", which is Extruder 1. Even Print Settings>Multiple Extruders… everything is showing 1 or 0. If you want Extruder 2 to be used, specify it in the Preview/Plater screen.
RE: XL printing with E1 instead of E2
It is a bug for sure. I'm mostly using E2, and E1 is always added. From time to time, (I was not able to reproduce the situation) E1 is picked for probing, it purges a bit and is switched to E2, which doesn't purge then. There are other problems from time to time, e.g. trying to clean the nozzle, but in a cold state...

Can't edit the post any longer, @admins/mods pls set a longer edit time in the wp-foro settings 😉
Same here, E2 is my default extruder.
RE:
Ok, now I can reproduce the bug described above.
1) park the current tool
2) create a file containing a small cube, using E2.
3) send/upload/print the file.
First, E1 is picked, and E1 will heat up and purge some filament. Then E2 is picked , heats up, doesn't prime and starts printing.
Have uploaded a video, however it isn't shown...

RE: XL printing with E1 instead of E2
Update: I got the issue closed by Tyr. He said there was a wrongstart g-code in my (custom) profile. Hmmm. I haven't changed anything there in the gcode section.
Have used the add/remove printer setting in the first 2.7.0 alpha1. That's it.
Solution: Remove the current printer setting and create a new printer setting (beta).
RE: XL printing with E1 instead of E2
I have also recreated my printer profiles, and now it works properly.
Best regards
