Soluble Material Settings - Create solid bridged surface with PLA before interface material

Hello!

When using the soluble material settings, my regular PLA will build supports, but then as the interface layer tries to bridge over those supports, it doesn't stick well and tends to have a messy result.

I have interface layers set to 3, but I'm wondering if there is a way to make the first layer of the 3 my typical PLA, or if there is a way to bridge PLA material over the support gaps before the interface begins, so that when my interface material starts being laid down, it has a more solid surface to build on and does not have to bridge the supports itself.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Solved this. When the interface pattern is set to default, a flat layer is not created before the interface material. When setting to rectillinear, the layer is first created.
