Serious Layer Shifts - Multi Color - PLA
RE:
Anyone know what could cause this? This is on my dual head Prusa XL, previously had no issues but it seems something is off now. Prints great when it’s just one color but where both tools are used I get serious later shifting.
This is printing PLA on the latest firmware 6.0.4.

Are you printing without a prime tower or sufficient infill-first? Doesn't really look like layer shifting to me.

Are your coupler pins lubricated?

RE: Serious Layer Shifts - Multi Color - PLA
Thanks for the suggestion....I've been printing without greasing the TC couplers...this might explain all of my XL issues 😫 . Greasing now and will update, thanks again!

Don't forget to recalibrate the dock positions after greasing. Just to make sure everything sits fine as it should. 😉
