Prints not sticking
Situation: prints in PLA getting loose (mostly on the left side of the print bed) and resulting print-failures. Spaghetti all over.
:I tried: new firmware, calibrations of Z, printheads, tool-position.Cleaned the strctured sheet with soapy water AND IPA-alcohol (twice)Used prusament PLA, freshly from the box. (*)
Still prints come loose.
(*) I know “fresh” prusament or any pla isn’t completely dry … and i frequently use a dedicated drybox …But it is NOT OK when a clean, new, calibrated XL-printer … is not able to print clean, new prusament.
I will try with 3D-Lac and I’m sure this will resolve the issue … but that’s not OK. It should print without this trick
what do I do wrong, what should I try??

Which print bed surface? I had issue with textured and switched to the Satin and not issue since.

RE: Prints not sticking
I’ve had a lot of success with the smooth sheet and PLA.
Is there a way to dump the height data to see what the probe is seeing? I think the software does a good job of dealing with the surface, but I think the flatter and more consistent the better.
RE: Prints not sticking
Indeed, no more issues when printing with the satin bed ...
But that's a pitty. I am used of using the textured sheet on the MK3s+.
If I had known, I would not have bought the textured bed as an extra
RE: Prints not sticking
Textured sheet has always needed a lower z to get working. If you want to keep using it you should make a separate Printer Profile just for the textured sheet with a slightly lowered "z offset."
