One of my tools won't bed level.

Tool 1 of 5 was printing just fine. Then I went to re-print and Bed Leveling Failed.  I have tried restarting the machine and other prints and it won't level. What it does is hover above the bed. Its very hard to describe its activity but after the nozzle clean it does the bed leveling and it does its little up and down motions a good 1/4 of an inch above the board. But this is not consistent. It will go lower somtimes, and sometimes not low at all. sometimes it does it lower and lower in progression on one spot, then back up to high on the next spot.

The other tools print fine. 2 and 3 I know print fine. All is well.

The only unique thing about Tool 1 that I can think of is a piece of the fan busted. Its just a chip out of one of the blades and now it makes a noise at high RPM.
It had done quite a few quality prints between that and the Bed Levelling issue.

I also have an enclosure setup. Again lots of proper prints on Tool 1 between then and now.

Any tips are highly appreciated.  Prusa support said to factory reset the machine and then update it. But I am trying to stay away from that if I can.

I don't know if you still have the issue, but you should do a new calibration with every tool head (the one with the metal rod protuding from the center of the base plate).

I had this issue of one tool head getting out of vertical alignement. The calibration resolved this.
