Odd Layer (Gap?) in print

Hi all,

Please view the picture included from a small Prusa XL print I did. There is this odd layer gap that randomly happens and for the life of me I can't diagnose where and why it could happen. This is not consistent across layer heights or prints, it just happens sometimes

It does not go across the entire layer, or even the entire piece, just this one section. There is no tool change or support in this model, and both pieces are printed at the same time so there is a jump from one to the other. Please let me know if anyone has had this and if there is a solution!

Random, then possibly filament issues, humidity ? then a dryer is required,  storage prior to usage ? I use vacuum sealed bags, if ABS then it could be a necessary fit a draft excluder around the printer.

Cheers

Good points and worth considering. This is Polymaker PLA Pro which I've printed hundreds of kg of, with this "error" coming up maybe once a month and causing me to reject a few parts time to time. I do keep the filament dry otherwise it can snap in the extruder in the worst circumstances.

Interested if others have seen this with any of their prints, but it was good to clarify what filament as well!
