Filament Runs Out, No Wipe, Drags Tail Into Print
One of my prints emptied a spool. The XL properly halted and waited (overnight, joy) until I could add new filament.
My question is whether there are settings regarding how the machine handles new filament loads that I have missed.
The Nextruder in question begins at the front edge of the bed (and the part is at the back, placed there by PrusaSlicer).
Observed Behavior: Purge, user confirm, immediately return to the part while dragging a leaky "tail" that lands right in the print.
Expected Behavior: Purge, user confirm, prime/do literally trying to avoid dragging that leaky "tail" from the new filament into the print. Then resume print.
RE: Filament Runs Out, No Wipe, Drags Tail Into Print
I think it is related to this GitHub reported problem: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/2502
The problem has Been there for years and still no fix or workable workaround.
