I then troubleshot the issue using PLA and regular PETG, and both printed fine. After that, I used the same G-code file for regular PETG but loaded the PETG-CF filament instead, and voilà — no more layer shifting. Apparently, the failed prints were caused by using the Prusament PETG-CF profile (255°C nozzle temperature and 1.03 extrusion multiplier), whereas the regular PETG profile used a 240°C nozzle temperature and a 1.00 extrusion multiplier.

I still don’t know why printing a single object with the Prusament PETG-CF profile did not cause the same layer-shifting issue. It’s still a mystery.

I also use the standard preset such as 0.15 Structural with a little bit of tweaking (perimeter, top & bot shell, etc), including the start G-code

What firmware are you using to print the file? Are you also using all the printer presets, including the start G-code?

First, a question: Did you dry the filament? If so, for how long and at what temperature?

Second question: Do you have a 3MF or G-code file of the failed print in question?

I dried the roll at 65C for 8 hours before printing and ran the dryer at 50C during the print.

These are the failed prints with layer shifting, you can see the that the support branch is not centered, and the perimeter lines have shifted

I also did a test print of a square perimeter parallel to the bed and angled at 45° to test whether the shifting occurred on the x axis or y axis

It seems that the shifting occurred on both the x and y axis.

Looked up the issue on the prusa knowledge base, and the suggested solutions were to adjust the belt tension, check the motor pulley, and check the belt clamp - all of which I had done before the print

Second question: Do you have a 3MF or G-code file of the failed print in question?

It’s perfectly normal for the print bed not to be perfectly level. It’s also normal for it to be lower or higher at the corners or in the middle.

I invested time and money to fix the factory-induced unevenness. I removed all 16 tiles and cut out the foam spacer layer to accommodate 64 special springs. Now I’ve individually adjusted all 16 tiles over the 64 screws and with the springs so that I have a deviation of 0.05 mm across the entire surface.

I've been printing using the PETG-CF from ESUN on my Prusa XL 2T. Has anyone succeeded perfecting the print profile? I'm printing at 260C with 0.95 extrusion multiplier using the 0.2mm speed profile (0,6mm ObXidian nozzle)

Could you tell us what kind of help you need?

There is some stringing issue with my prints, and also I've been having layer shifting issue, whenever I print a rather large multiple object (110mm diameter) the xy axis seems to shift a little causing a layer shift from the start of the second layer. I've adjusted the belt tension using the tuner app (82Hz left, 80Hz right). Printing small objects (around a single heatbed tile) at the filament purge section (left bottom corner) seems to be fine, but I do notice the entire bed flexing slightly whenever the extruder moves along the y axis
