elegoo petg / generic petg profile - repeated print fails - why?
I am having repeated failures on a long-ish print. filament is elegoo brown petg. using generic petg filament profile, printing from prusa slicer on a mac 2.9.2. before each print i clean the nozzle and the build plate.
this bad boy has failed 3x for me now. I can't tell exactly when/where (no video) but it looks like maybe the organic supports failed somehow. Anyone with more of an expert eye have a thought as to what the failure may be? Do you think some of the organic supports failed to adhere to the build plate or maybe the print head knocked them over?
I am using structural .4mm nozzle XLIS settings (differences from the default shown in the screenshot). Any suggestions for what to try next? i was going to try switching to snug supports - but this is a 17hr print and it's a lot of filament waste each failure; was hoping someone could pick up on something i'm missing.
Appreciate the help - thanks all.

well, closing the loop on this. I tried all sorts of settings variations for the organic supports and it just wasn't working. What i ended up doing was turning off auto supports, painting on supports in prusa slicer, switching from organic to snug - and i was able to print the part without a failure.
