Could use a little schooling on layers
Hi, I could use a little push from someone about layers, infill layers, and extruder changes. I am printing bellows and I am using TPU and want to use PLA as the infill. I am assuming that the layers on the bellows are how they are drawn in CAD. So if you look at the drawing the walls are around 2mm and then the gap is around the same so I am assuming I would want to print at a 2mm line thickness which seems to be working ok. The problem I think I am having is I am printing with PLA for the supports between the bellows and I am not doing something correct. I thought I would need to use the gap measurements in between each bellow which is 2mm but I am really missing something. Anyone have a push you could give me on this? The outer layers seem fine but I am really struggling with the supports between the bellows?

The following link is a YouTube video showing how CLough42 makes a bellows for his CNC machine. The same principles are involved in what you want to do. He covers it well using TPU for the bellows with PLA as a separator between the layers.
