Why does my XL print slower than my MK4 despite faster speed settings

Same part, 20 min difference

I was printing a batch of these parts out of TPU when I noticed that the batch on the XL takes significantly longer to print per object than the MK4. Does anyone know why this is? I read that the XL was supposed to be faster than the previous Prusa models. But in the photos above you can see I have the exact same input shaper speed settings. Yet there is a 20 minute difference in print speed per part for some reason. Can anyone help?

Additional oddity:
Even when I took the MK4 down to the non-input shaping 0.4 quality setting, it still outperformed the XL's print speed. Even though every single category is significantly slower than the XL.

I think PrusaSlicer does factor in the heat soak time involved with the XL's heated bed - that long delay after starting a print which isn't involved with earlier printers (to my knowledge.)

My guess is that it will be slower for small prints and faster for large ones, once that initial preheating time is eaten up by the faster speeds.

That's what I thought at first too, but I looked at the print time breakdown and you can see in the photos posted above that each individual category such as perimeters and infill all take way longer on the xl. This should all be post bed heating. And I was printing large batches to begin with, where the whole batch ended up taking up to an hour more on the xl than the MK4.

Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D @MK4 - MVS 4 mm3/s

Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D @XL - MVS 2.5 mm3/s

MVS is usually the real speed limit when printing TPU. No clue why the difference tho.

Ah ok. Is there a way to change this setting? I don't see it in the speed settings.
