Tool filament sensor issue

Hello,

I have the XL with 2 tools and I'm having an issue with one of them: the filament sensor on the tool sometimes detects that there's no filament left, even though there's still some on the spool. When I try to insert or remove filament, I notice that just moving the filament near the tool causes the sensor to change state (ON / OFF). I tried calibrating it, but it didn't help. I'm sharing a video to show what it looks like.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? What should I check?

I tried searching the forum but couldn't find any answers. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

I can't play your video, but maybe your issue is comparable to my sensor problem?

RE: Tool filament sensor issue

Hello,

It doesn't seem to be the same error. I do not have an error number on screen. It was as if there were no filament for the sensor, but in reality, there is one.

I would be able to change the filament: take it out and put it back again, but few minutes later, it will again fail.
