Strange voltage for the 5V rail in the status page of the printer
I recently got my XL and I am quite happy with it so far ...
Nevertheless ... for the status page the voltages for 24V and 5V are measured and displayed. 24 is displaying 24.1V ... so perfectly fine ... But the 5V reading shows 31.6V ... which seems to be nonsense since the printer is working fine ... and 30+V on the 5V rail certainly would have fried 99,7% of all chips on the boards 😉 ...
Is this a firmware issue and similar on all XLs ... or dies mine have a bad AD channel or voltage devider for measuring?
Can anybody confirm that the reading is correct for the voltages in the status page?
Thanks.
PS: Sorry, don't have an image yet, since the printer is working I can't go to the status page until tomorrow afternoon 😉

RE: Strange voltage for the 5V rail in the status page of the printer
I have exactly the same reading for 5v showing 30+v on a XL single tool with firmware 4.7.2.
RE: Strange voltage for the 5V rail in the status page of the printer
Mine also shows 30v+ on the 5v sensor.

Ok ... so it seems to be a general SW or HW issue and not specific to my machine ... So I am fine with it. Anyway, my board would have fried completely if the 5V really would bave been 30V 😆

Can someone at Prusa please post the details of this anomaly? I would like to have it fixed. Being able to read the voltages is a nice diagnostic when troubleshooting. Is the schematic available?

This site is largely peer to peer, Prusa representatives rarely visit.
Have you tried the 24 hour Chat service?
