Prusa XL multi-tools random small layer gap

I've been having these issues for quite a while now.  Whenever I print with multi-tools, I get random, layer gaps of between 1 - 4mm.  This usually happens only on secondary tools (Primary print on Tool 1, other secondary colours on Tool 2-5).

I have dried my filaments and all filaments are printed while inside a drybox.  All nozzles are clear with regular cold pulls weekly.  Happens on all type of PLA I've seen.

Any ideas?

Looks like you’re not extruding.   Are you using a wipe tower, that might help.  Check your fillament tempature, perhaps hotter.  Folks always tell me to run a tempature tower.

I agree, looks like maybe your not using a wipe tower.  That can help make sure the nozzle is purged.  Sometimes oozing or excessive retraction between tool changes can cause a section of no extrusion.

Also is it possible your printing outer perimeters first?  If so turn that off and then that section of no extrusion will be inside the part and you can continue without the wipe tower.
