Nozzle Heater Self-Test Keeps Failing
A few weeks ago, after changing the nozzle on a few of the toolheads on my XL, I tried to start a print and it failed on initial heating. Ok, so I contact support, after like 20 minutes we get it narrowed down to the thermistor on TH4. They ship me a replacement, I go to install it. I wanted to confirm the wrong toolhead (idk why, I guess it would've only taken a few minutes and I didn't want to create rework for myself) and the heater test failed on TWO toolheads this time. Fun.
Anyways, I contacted support and after 3 hours they narrowed it down to a broken dwarf board. I'm not sure how that has anything to do with the other toolhead failing, but ok. I got the spare parts back today, install all of the replacement parts, and... heater test on toolhead 4 has failed again.
Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?
RE: Nozzle Heater Self-Test Keeps Failing
I figured I would respond here with the solution. I swapped heads 2 and 4 (everything past the cable/tube) and it passed... I'm not sure why it worked but I will take it.
