Groaning sound when moving along Y axis

Hi there. I've got a 5TXL that's about 6 weeks old. Still (slowly) understanding how things work. One thing that I'm concerned about is that my unit is making a pretty awful groaning sound when moving front to back during a print. I suspect it might be coming from the toolhead, but can't say for sure.

I've looked into lubricating the linear rails, but I guess I need to order the specific Microlube GL261 grease for that? Also, I'm suspicious that such a new unit would need the rails greased so soon before the recommended 3-6 months

Is this sound to be expected, or should I be looking into tweaking something (other than lubricating the rails)? I've attached a quick video of what's happening. The print is symmetrical left and right, and it's making the sound on every perimeter pass on both sides. Speed for those is 170mm/s

thx!

RE: Groaning sound when moving along Y axis

Does it occur with other prints as well at the same spot? Even if you increase and decrease the linear speed a little with the knob? Do you hear the sound as well during non-printing movements? Without toolhead attached?

If you switch off the printer and move the gantry by hand slowly. Do you feel some resistance? Please hold your horses and do not yet loosen the belts to be able to feel better. Do not yet touch the screws of the linear rails. Do not yet grease the linear rails. Did you get the XL as a kit?

The tin plates of the covers are sound amplifiers. You might check for loose screws of the covers but keep them in place for now. Since I have no enclosure anyway, I did not bother to attach the sound amplifying side panels. I recently put two of these bottom-panel-resonance-dampener below the base plate. That is an easy and safe mod.
