First layer went to hell from one print to the next
I've had an XL for a few months now, and the first layers have, until now, been perfect as advertised. Yesterday I printed sideplates for a display, one immediately after another. As shown in the picture, the first layer on the second part went down correctly on one corner of the part (out of view), but was terrible over the majority of the bed. A subsequent reprint was aborted after seeing immediate signs of the same issue. Apparently others have had similar issues, and some have reported improvements by reducing first layer thickness by .25mm in the slicer. I just started reprinting the part, and the .25mm reduction seems to have gotten things back on track. I am primarily posting this as further documentation of a glaring issue, but any advice is greatly appreciated.
