Can a transparent filament be a wrong choice when calibrating the filament sensor if it's used later with a more opaque one?

Hello,

I've calibrated both filament sensors of my XL 2T using some transparent PETG.

However, I have then loaded a spool of Prusa Galaxy Black PLA on one printing head. On this head I've had an issue of false alarms of blocked filament. The filament was not blocked at all.

I am wondering if the calibration of the filament sensor should be run again when there is such a change between a see-thru filament and a much more opaque one.

I don't think Prusa have used optical checks since the early Mk3.    First check the diameter of the filament you used.

Check the diameter of the transparent PETG you used for calibration.
