Well that is weird. Someone at DHL has bipolar issues… tracking shows the package bouncing between Prague and Germany back and forth…. Also got a power of attorney notice to clear Canada customs…. That sounds expensive….

DHL's IT system is nuts. For example my printer was delivered at 9:30 GMT on Friday 8th December, yet it was not till 21:51 that the email arrived at my ISPs mail server. The headers in the email say that the email was generated at 21:51:06 and it also passed through their gateway server at that time. So the email that notified me of the printer being on the courier truck for delivery was generated and sent over 12 hours after I received it.
So the package bouncing according to DHLs system is probably different tracking events hitting their WEB server out of order.
As for that customs notice make sure it actually came from DHL before you follow the link to the site to make the customs payment. A customs hold will be placed if that has not been paid by the time it arrives in DHL's Canadian customs station and if DHL Canada are anything like DHK UK they will not release it till the midnight after it has been paid.
So all in all DHL are a crap courier with terrible IT systems.

You forgot their totally random and unforeseeable handling charges, which might even happen when no customs or tax apply. And the bills for same, which arrive 12 weeks later with absolutely no mention which package they're for. You also forgot their unreachable and anyway clueless hotline or random double billing. Or their ability to carry packages with forklift-fork holes punched through them around half the globe trying to pin the damage on the recipient. I could go on, but Prusa claims DHL is the best.

Well, I'm in the sheep dip now....
Just arrived, exactly 2 years to the day from ordering....
Hopefully I'm not living a the shelter for 3d printers anonymous for Christmas...
