RE: Tpu printing issue please help

Pla is easy to Print. Tpu isnt. Nozzle Diameter counts. Maybe you could Work around with lowering the acceleration. You can See this in the slicer when you Change to Speed in the view menu.

  1. 0,8 mm nozzle Diameter needs more time to stabalize the Filament flow. You can See this at your Pla 0,4mm Print as well. Its Just a lot shorter (2-3mm next to the seaming).
  2. Try to dissable retraction complety with tpu to See If this Help with your artifacts
  3. Check max Filament flow (in Orca slicer really easy)
  4. Try raise Temperatur 5°C

Good luck!

Good advice !

Depending on the geometry of the model, TPU sometimes makes ugly seams, even with a 0.4mm. nozzle. I have no experiece with a 0.8mm,  but I expect that it's far worse. Have you enabled "retraction at layer change" and/or "wipe while retracting" ?.

Hi again,

Did you perform the calibration step with Orca?

https://github.com/SoftFever/OrcaSlicer/wiki/Calibration

Point 5. Max Volumetric Speed would be my First guess, but Temperatur, flow rate, pressure advance, etc. should also be Taken into concern
