Terrible results with Prusament PETG

So far I've been very pleased with how the Prusament PETG has printed out of the box with the appropriate profiles selected in Prusaslicer. My latest batch of filaments, however, are not working well. There's much more stringing, and there's a tendency for the filament to not stick or even not to appear at all, at the start of the extrusions. This is with an ObXidian 0.6 nozzle. I guess it's possible I got a batch that is wet, so I'm going to try drying the spools, but any other ideas for what might be going wrong?

RE: Terrible results with Prusament PETG

I have same issue with a particular roll of Prusament PLA. Very stringy and at the same time, terrible layer adhesion. I have no idea why and I just use that roll of filament on prints that I don’t care about the appearance.

Recently, I got a similar issue with AmazonBasic PLA. Very stringy print with brittle filament. I cannot even print it with the XL without the filament breaking inside the nextruder. Seems to me that no matter the brand, there are occasionally a roll of filament with quality issues.
