Pause a print job for cold pull
Hi everyone,
I’d like to understand whether it’s possible to temporarily pause an active print job in order to perform a Cold Pull — either using the automatic feature or manually — without canceling the print entirely.
Currently, when I attempt to initiate a Cold Pull while a job is running, Prusa Connect (or the printer interface) requires me to stop the print first. But if I could simply pause it — while maintaining bed temperatures — I’d be able to safely clear a potential clog and then resume printing exactly where I left off. This would save significant time and material, especially on long prints.
Is this functionality currently planned?
Additionally, if pausing doesn’t enable Cold Pull directly: Can I still control the printer manually via Prusa Connect while the print is paused? For example, could I pause the job, then manually adjust the nozzle temperature and perform a manual Cold Pull through the interface — before resuming?
Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Floh
