I just got my XL 5 and I've been trying to get rid of the wipe tower. I've tried so many different options and none of them seem to have any effect. That little string it leaves when tool changing is destroying my prints. If it could go to the wipe tower and print 1mm then change I'd be happy. No matter what I do the wipe tower is still so large. I've changed wipe tower width to 1mm and reduced the minimal purge on wipe tower to .25 and the tower is still huge. What else needs to change to either remove the tower or reduce the size? The blog post Eliminating the Wipe Tower mentioned at the beginning of this thread doesn't seem to exist anymore.
