Does anyone have a good answer for why orders placed One Year Ago for the XL-5  in  September 2022 are not yet being shipped as of Sept 2023?  You would think that filling orders would be a top priority and someone in MFG'ing would figure out how to print more printer to have the capacity to fill orders faster?

I preordered 5 head fully assembled 12/19/ 2021 and after reading the post and blogs i am in no hurry let them work out the bugs i would rather have it work like a PRUSA should.

RE:

I ordered mine one day after you and have asked Prusa chat twice where I may be in the que but just get a canned answer that all pre-orders from 2021 will ship before the new year.

I call complete BS. Just tell me the truth.

I am now planning on 2024 and the many bugs and QC issues better be worked out by then!!!!

Thanks for your post.  My point is there are a lot of Very Loyal Prusa customers that most likely have other Prusa products that really want and can use this New 5 Head Machine.  If enough of us all join this post then MGT at Prusa can better understand the business merit of putting more dedicated resources on fixing these Bug Issues and making a stable product for Bulk Production?  It seems to me the Business Case is Simple.   Cash to fund labor to fix the problem is directly offset by Orders on Hand to Fill if the product works?   Any thoughts or feedback....?

Does anyone know about the little glitch that let some single tool orders that were converted to 5 tool orders skip ahead?  I think I fell into that group.   I had ordered a single tool back in October of 22.  I got my conversion email last month (October 23) and decided to change it from single tool to 5 tool.   Support said it wouldn't ship this year but two weeks later it was on the way.

@Bill: To me it seems that Prusa has detected this "converting glitch", as it was mentioned in the last big blog article about the conversion of orders and the upcoming shipping list.

It seems, that the first preorders from the second day (November 20th) are for 5 head semi are shipped. As far as I understand the blog article, the conversions will be shipped if all regular preorders are processed. So if you switch from 1 head to 5 head assembled, your order should have been shipped after all 5 head assembled preorders are processed and before the regular preorders for 5 head semi are processed. In this way I would try to process the preorders.
