Debris in extruder fan error - park position blocks fan!

I discovered something I think is an issue a little bit ago:

When debris gets into the extruder fan on the XL toolhead and stalls the fan, the printer pauses the print and parks the tool along the left side. Unfortunately, this park position makes it darned near impossible to actually clear the debris out of the fan because the fan is directly facing the left rail, and the movement axes are all locked on. There's not enough room to get your hand between the fan and the rail. MAYBE you can reach in with some tweezers if the debris is near the outside of the fan, but if (like in my case) that debris has fallen behind the fan blades, it's essentially impossible to reach.

It seems like parking in the front center for toolhead errors would give better access all around the tool to clear jams, etc.

Anybody else run into this?

RE: Debris in extruder fan error - park position blocks fan!

I've yoinked a parked tool before and the printer will bitch about it, but I don't think it stopped the print. Never ran into your issue exactly but I think (not tested, very unsure) that you can just manually unlock the tool so you can pick it up, remedy the issue, and then manually lock it back into the selector without losing the whole print. If you run into this issue regularly then it might help to test it out. As long as your belts are correctly tensioned so it homes correctly, it shouldn't be too detrimental.

I made a couple tickets on github a long time back asking for the ability to move the axis during a pause like you can with the MK3MMU and to not auto move the tool all the way to the back, but neither ask has ever went anywhere afaik.
