XL 2-Head semi-assembled = expensive Brick

Hello,since this is a user-to-user forum, I would like to share my experience with you.

After 664 days, the XL finally arrived and was assembled on 16/09. At the first "power on" the error message "ESP not connected #17533 (XL)".

Then, according to the instructions on the website, a firmware update was performed. This also brought no improvement.

Calibration and printing are not possible, every time the printer is operated it restarts.

Directly on 16.09. started a chat with the following instructions from Prusa:

* Firmware upgrade

* Photo of antenna connector on buddy board

* Photo of antenna connector

* Photo of WLAN antenna plug and socket

Then "we will check and get back to you".

On 20.09. came an email from info@prusa with the request to downgrade to 4.6.1 and to report the result. Since then only silence.

I'm really pissed off, because I really expect that spare parts for my 2.600€ expensive brick will be sent soon. Or at least an announcement about it.

Best regards, Peter

Yes, they send a new Buddy board last Wednesday. It is working since Friday.

It's really just little annoying things aside from the fact that I don't really like the print quality "out-of-the-box".

Well, i feel better to see that I am not the only one with that issue. My PSU was originally not wired properly and something got damaged, either the board, PSU, or both!

I received my printer on Sept 5, and it hasn't been fixed yet!!! It took 2 weeks for them to finally say that they needed to ship something. it has been 20 more days since and still nothing! This is unacceptable. It takes me days to get an answer to my emails. It has been so frustrating. I have now 3 Prusa printers and that is probably the last one. I always loved the plug-and-play and the reliability of my MK3s. I haven't seen the XL multi-tool work yet but I already hate it. It looks beautiful but it is even too big to be useful as a $2.5K DOOR STOP!!!!.

I was so looking forward to printing with it. I haven't even heard or seen it on after 36 days!
