Gummy Bears Exploded During Shipping--Fouled Build Plate?
Hey,
While I appreciate the gesture, the bag containing the gummy bears exploded in transit. Take a look at your printer and consider every nook and cranny. Ask yourself, would a gummy bear fit there? If the answer was "Yes," there was a gummy bear there. If the answer was "Surely not, that's too small of a space," there was still a gummy bear there. Took awhile to extract all of them, though I think I've found them all.
The main issue now is that they seem to have left a residue on the build plate. Is this something I should be concerned about? Any way to clean it?
I also worry that they spread the grease all around the printer as there are wetish marks everywhere. Thoughts on any additional diagnostics or maintenance I should perform before trying a first print?

I would wash the Build plate with hot water and dish soap, rinse with plain hot water and dry immediately with plain paper towels...
