RE: Bad layers

Thats under extrusion, many possible causes.  Are you hearing clicking as it prints when you get a bed print.  Check you don't have a partial clog, check your extruder gear tension etc.

I changed the nozzle, and checked the belts. I also lubricated the linear guides. it is on the prusa xl. It is much better but not perfect. It is also only on 2 sides when you print a cube. Do you perhaps have some more tips on what I can try?

RE: Bad layers

From my past browsing of learning about some of these issues, some of this can contribute to the filament not being dry and the pock marks are where the filament has bubbled letting off out the trapped water.  Ive heard others say to lower the temp down to 235 for pet-g, if that is what you are using to print.  try a temp tower or swap out the filament and see if you have the same problem.

@zaphod

I tried the temperature tower, but it seems that the filament temperature was too high.

I'm going to print some more to see if the problem is solved.
