High flow nozzle, very little flow (15mm3/s)
I bought a "Brass High Flow Prusa Nextruder Nozzle, 0.8mm" directly from E3D. I used the default profile for it on Prusa Slicer. The flow that I can get without the extruder skipping is about 15mm3/s and the nozzle does not seem blocked at.
Has anyone got experience with CHT or HF nozzles on a nextruder, especially if they are bigger than 0.4? What flow are you getting out of it? I am wondering if I'm doing something wrong
RE: High flow nozzle, very little flow (15mm3/s)
I just bought the Obxidion Nextruder 0.4mm High Flow Nozzle. I have noticed that the nozzle is almost one third longer, so I had to really force the nozzle into the hot end. I only noticed this, because when I started my first print, the nozzle ran a-ground on the aluminum square tubbing support next to the extruder parking. Thank goodness I didn't damage the extruder, but the nozzle tip is bent and unusable. As far as the flow is concerned, I haven't noticed one bit of change in programming. I set up the flow within the program settings with a max print speed of 40mm3/s to match the High-Speed filament, but it didn't print any faster than usual. I also did a second print as a comparison but adjusted the flow from the touch screen panel to 200%, but there was no very little change in print time.
