SL1S printing problems
Hey guys,
we have some problem with our SL1S, that we cant fix. We hope someone has a idea.
The SL1S is in service for about half a year. In our facility it is used very often.(1-2 per day)
We use Prusa materials only that are no older than 3 months (Stored dry and dark):
Prusa Tough Rich Black, White, Orange and Anthracite. Every material has its own resin tank.
A few weeks back, we run into issues with it:
The only material that works decent is tough white. All other materials have immense warping and the adhesion to the printing bed is very bad.
We already calibrated the printer, checked the UV-light (removed the housing and searched for bad LEDs), cleaned the UV-light(dust), checked the display and used new tanks with fresh foils.
We think its interesting that the white material with the same parameters works good and the rich black warps.
Any tip or idea how to get rid of the problem would help us.
Thanks so much!!
RE: SL1S printing problems
On an MSLA printer, you need to calibrate each colour individually. Even the same type of resin will need other exposure and first layer times depenting on what pigments are added.
So, it's not surprising that settings that work with white will fail with black.
RE: SL1S printing problems
The parameters for Prusa white tough and Prusa tough rich black are the same (in the prusa slicer, preset).
Also they worked fine just a while ago. Why should they be readjusted without any noticable change in the system?
